Clinical Window has been on the web for a decade. Building on our existing number of over 7.000 readers per month, we want to provide continuous service for healthcare professionals as our audience.
The first publication of Clinical Window took place in August 2000, and we feel that this is the right moment to to refresh - to upgrade ourselves, if you wish. We feel that creating a new open access peer-review journal for medical professionals will best serve our readers in the future.
The new Clinical Window will be an independent open access journal. It will be run according to scientific principles and in close proximity with our international board of editors.

Our aim is to publish articles in clinical medicine and medical technology, particularly in the field of anesthesiology, intensive care, emergency medicine, respiratory care and pain therapy.
We will publish original articles and short communications, scientific reviews and case reports. In addition to the traditional scientific content, there is also space for other general interest topics linked to medicine.
